HR Advisor

About the role

Dalton Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a dynamic People function. You will support the People Director, Head of People Operations and Business Partners in delivering a first‑class HR service across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice, coaching and guidance on HR policies, employee relations and organisational change.
• Manage complex ER cases, including flexible working, absence, performance, grievance and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain accurate reporting on absence, grievance and disciplinary issues.
• Champion high‑quality mid‑year and annual appraisals and support overall performance management.
• Deliver and support a wide range of people projects and transformational initiatives.
• Act as a role model for best practice, cultural change and company values.
• Assist the People Director with ad‑hoc projects and activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR advisory, particularly employee relations and organisational development.
• Resilience, a positive "can‑do" attitude and appetite for driving change.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with leaders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
