HR Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join a fast‑growing organisation in Milton Keynes. You will work within a dynamic People team, supporting managers and employees through a period of rapid expansion and system transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Support day‑to‑day people issues and ensure consistent application of policies and legislation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and documentation.
• Assist with the implementation, data migration and ongoing optimisation of a new HR system.
• Produce HR reports, dashboards and management information for senior leadership.
• Analyse HR data using Excel to identify trends and provide insights.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and broader employee‑lifecycle activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support wider People projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
