HR Advisor – Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing logistics business in Warrington. The role will work closely with operational managers, providing pragmatic, commercially‑focused HR advice and supporting a positive employee experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases.
• Lead complex investigations and manage ER cases from start to finish.
• Support organisational change programmes, including restructures, consultations and TUPE‑related activities.
• Partner with managers to develop people‑management capability and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Analyse HR trends, produce recommendations to boost employee engagement and operational performance.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Previous HR experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, distribution or a similar operational sector.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing complex employee‑relations cases.
• Experience delivering organisational change and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of industrial relations and working with trade unions.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of UK employment law.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing abilities.
