HR Advisor – Remote Interim Support

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide interim support to their HR Business Partnering team. Working fully remote, you will deliver HR advisory and employee‑relations guidance to a geographically dispersed workforce, helping managers navigate disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee‑relations issues including disciplinary, grievance and absence cases.
• Support investigations and provide guidance to investigating officers.
• Manage Occupational Health referrals and related processes.
• Assist with Subject Access Requests, including document redaction.
• Provide guidance on probation, attendance, sickness absence and policy matters.
• Draft HR correspondence and outcome letters.
• Maintain documentation, filing and record retrieval systems.
• Advise on family leave, medical appointments, career breaks and other HR policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience at HR Advisor level with strong employee‑relations and case‑management exposure.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or progressing towards it) is desirable.
• Experience in healthcare, public sector or highly regulated environments is an advantage.
