HR Business Partner – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join a fast‑growing technology and business services organisation in Milton Keynes. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, hybrid working (two days in the office), and will support leaders through organisational change and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to drive organisational change, workforce planning and succession initiatives.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance matters.
• Support HR projects such as new people‑systems implementation and process improvement.
• Provide operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends and inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with Talent, Reward and Learning & Development teams to embed modern HR practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and hands‑on ER case management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers on best‑practice people management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels.

Required skills

• HR systems implementation experience.
• People analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
