HR Business Partner – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support a leading professional services organisation. Working across Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, you will operate in a hybrid model, partnering directly with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategy that drives business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead complex employee relations cases, ensuring best practice and compliance with UK employment law.
• Manage performance, promotion and reward cycles, using data‑driven insights to influence decisions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and early‑career programmes to attract and retain talent.
• Deliver HR projects and initiatives that add value across the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within professional services.
• Strong expertise in employee relations and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and communicate confidently.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Commercial mindset with a data‑focused approach.
