HR Coordinator – Hinkley Point C Project

About the role

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support the MEH Alliance on the Hinkley Point C nuclear construction project. The role is full‑time permanent, based in Bridgwater and on the Hinkley Point C site, providing day‑to‑day HR advice and administration for the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MEH HR Manager and Advisors with advice and guidance for supervisors and managers.
• Maintain HR databases and trackers, delivering accurate metrics.
• Develop and update HR processes and procedures in line with project agreements.
• Oversee white‑collar overtime submissions, ensuring compliance with the MEH Staff Handbook.
• Support GDPR compliance within the HR team and across the project.
• Liaise with joint‑venture partner HR teams to ensure collaborative working.
• Coordinate absence management, from contact to guidance for supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous HR experience on large‑scale or complex construction projects.
• Holding CIPD Level 3 (advantageous).
• Strong administrative and communication abilities for stakeholder interaction.
• Experience in a trade‑union or construction environment (advantageous).

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
