HR Coordinator – Hybrid, 30 hrs/week, £28-32k

About the role

Join a family‑owned business as an HR Coordinator and gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with an experienced HR Advisor, you will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records and HR systems in a hybrid, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Coordinate recruitment campaigns, interviews and onboarding processes.
• Manage the HR inbox and respond to day‑to‑day enquiries.
• Monitor probation periods and organise performance reviews.
• Assist with employee‑relations administration and take confidential meeting notes.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build positive relationships across the business to deliver an excellent employee experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar support role.
• Good understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR processes.
• CIPD Level 3 (or studying towards it) or equivalent practical HR experience.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000‑£32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 30‑hour week with flexible hours; full‑time (37 hrs) considered.
