HR Generalist – Edinburgh

About the role

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support its growing engineering team in Edinburgh. You will manage recruitment, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and a range of HR programs while ensuring compliance and confidentiality across European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation.
• Manage talent acquisition and end‑to‑end recruitment processes across Europe using Greenhouse.
• Coordinate interviews, post job ads, and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
• Respond to employee and candidate inquiries, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Execute payroll processes, resolve queries, and handle processing errors.
• Liaise with external benefits providers (health, disability, pension).
• Use global HRIS to manage employee data, prepare offers, contracts, and conduct reference checks.
• Coordinate onboarding, ensuring new hires receive necessary information and support.
• Assist in planning employee events and company‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• A/BS degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience in an international, fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required.
