HR Generalist – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

This HR Generalist position supports employees across UK and European offices of a leading international professional services firm. Based in Leeds with a hybrid working model, the role offers a £35,000 per annum salary and exposure to international HR practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support across UK and European locations.
• Advise managers on employee‑relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Support recruitment processes and manage secondments.
• Administer parental leave, flexible working arrangements and overall employee lifecycle processes.
• Assist with performance reviews, promotions and salary review cycles.
• Produce HR reports and management information for senior leadership.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to HR projects.
• Develop knowledge of employment legislation across multiple European jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Previous generalist HR experience, preferably within professional services.
• Part‑ or fully‑CIPD qualified (desirable).
• Strong employee‑relations and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.
