HR Graduate – Graduate Recruitment & Programme Coordinator

About the role

Our client, a specialist consultancy serving the defence and finance sectors, is expanding its graduate and internship programmes in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are looking for an HR Graduate to support the attraction, selection and programme management of these schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver careers fairs, virtual presentations and campus events, including travel logistics and briefing materials.
• Maintain the company’s presence on social media and job boards.
• Manage application tracking, candidate communications and scheduling of assessment centres, interviews and online tests.
• Produce offer documentation, handle pre‑employment administration and coordinate onboarding, rotation scheduling and quarterly reviews.
• Act as the primary point of contact for interns and graduates, gathering feedback and maintaining programme trackers, reporting dashboards and process documentation.

Required profile

• A 2:1 degree from a top 25 UK university.
• Prior experience in events, recruitment coordination, careers services or student union work.
• Strong organisational ability and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms.
