HR Intern (4‑Month Placement)

About the role
A European bank is looking for a conscientious intern to join its busy HR department in London. The role supports all HR administrative functions, recruitment activities, projects and employee lifecycle processes. It is a full‑time, five‑day‑a‑week placement lasting four months. The intern will gain exposure to HR processes within a financial institution and will work closely with senior HR professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Maintaining employee records
- Scheduling interviews
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding procedures
- Document preparation and template management
- Visa applications
- Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and distribution of company policies and procedures
- Conducting background checks
Required profile
- Some proven HR administration experience ideally gained within a financial institution
- Degree in HR
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity
