HR Manager – Employee Relations & Change

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the UK HR function for a newly merged business. Reporting to the Head of HR – Europe & Africa, you will act as the primary HR partner for a team of around 72 employees while collaborating with an international HR team supporting 800 staff worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially‑focused employee relations advice and manage complex cases.
• Support organisational change, transformation and integration activities arising from the recent merger.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant and aligned with business objectives.
• Coach and guide managers on all aspects of people management.
• Partner with international stakeholders to deliver consistent HR services across regions.

Required profile

• Resilient, proactive generalist HR professional with strong employee relations expertise.
• Proven experience supporting organisations through change, restructuring or integration projects.
• Comfortable operating as a standalone HR lead while collaborating within a wider HR function.
• Experience in an international or culturally diverse environment; exposure to Japanese‑owned or Asian organisations is a plus.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) desirable but not essential.
