HR Manager / HR Business Partner

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established, growing organisation that needs an experienced HR professional to provide strategic and operational support across a diverse workforce. As the HR Manager / HR Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, delivering people initiatives that drive growth and an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused HR solutions.
• Lead employee‑relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases.
• Coach and guide managers on people management, leadership and employment‑law compliance.
• Support workforce planning, talent management and succession planning.
• Lead recruitment campaigns, onboarding and retention strategies.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
• Support learning and development, identify skills gaps and coordinate development plans.
• Manage HR policies, procedures and compliance activities.
• Produce and analyse HR metrics to inform business decisions.
• Maintain HR administration, employee records and HR systems.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects across HR processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong end‑to‑end employee‑relations experience, able to manage complex cases independently.
• Hands‑on approach balancing strategic partnering with operational delivery.
• Broad HR generalist knowledge covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Up‑to‑date employment‑law knowledge and ability to provide practical advice.
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Excellent communication, coaching and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a wider HR team.
