HR Manager – Hybrid (London)

About the role

This HR Manager position is a true generalist leadership role based in London with a hybrid working model (2 days remote). Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will lead a small HR team and partner with senior leaders across multiple international locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day HR operations for several international sites.
• Manage and develop a small HR team, including an HR Assistant and a Training & Internal Events Coordinator.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and senior leaders on people management and employment law.
• Handle complex employee‑relations cases such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and organisational change.
• Support recruitment, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Deliver management development and learning initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant with legislation.
• Collaborate with the HR Director on strategic projects and organisational development.

Required profile

• Chartered CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a broad HR generalist management role.
• Experience supporting international operations across multiple countries.
• Strong employee‑relations expertise and up‑to‑date employment‑law knowledge.
• Experience coaching and developing managers and leaders.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, approachable, low‑ego leadership style.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
