HR Manager (Part‑time)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to work part‑time, three days a week, fully based in the Newcastle office. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape the people agenda and support business growth across manufacturing and office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive talent attraction, workforce planning, employee engagement and leadership development.
• Manage employee relations matters and support transformation projects.
• Use workforce data to inform decision‑making and embed improved processes.
• Lead recruitment, retention and succession planning activities.
• Coach and support managers on employee relations, performance management and leadership capability.
• Promote an inclusive, safety‑focused, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, Head of HR or HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• CIPD Level 5 or 7 accreditation preferred (not essential).
