HR Manager – Senior HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join a growing organisation in South West London. The role combines strategic HR partnership with hands‑on delivery, supporting senior leadership and a dynamic workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and senior stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
• Support and drive HR strategy, policies and best practice across the business.
• Lead recruitment processes and workforce planning initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding, training and employee development programmes.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies.
• Manage and improve HR processes, systems and reporting, and support organisational change projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor/Officer.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• CIPD qualification – minimum Level 5 (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic input with hands‑on HR delivery.
• Highly organised, proactive, solutions‑focused and resilient.
