HR Officer

About the role

The HR Officer will support the day‑to‑day operation of the Human Resources function, covering recruitment, pay and reward, management information and employee relations. This role is based in London and works within a fast‑moving legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination and managing agency relationships.
• Handle payroll notifications for starters and leavers, calculate entitlements and manage related correspondence.
• Support job evaluation, salary adjustments and maintain accurate pay structures.
• Update and maintain HR information systems, ensuring data integrity and producing workforce reports.
• Partner with finance and other stakeholders to keep establishment data current.
• Assist with employee relations activities and contribute to HR policy improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration and recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with payroll coordination and salary administration.
• Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce management information.
