HR Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead a high‑performing HR operations team. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to our London office, offering the chance to shape HR service delivery for a fast‑growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and development for the HR operations team, setting priorities and monitoring performance.
• Design and maintain robust HR systems, ensuring legal compliance and consistent reporting.
• Administer benefits and pensions, reviewing schemes against market trends.
• Oversee complex employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinaries.
• Coach people managers on performance, capability, conduct and redundancy processes.
• Lead strategic HR projects, job evaluations and reward management to support business growth.

Required profile

• CIPD qualification (MCIPD/FCIPD) or relevant degree.
• Proven senior‑level HR Operations experience within a group or senior leadership team.
• Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen and ability to interpret legislation.
• Experience managing change, transformations, acquisitions and TUPE transfers.
• Background in multi‑site operations, preferably with trade‑union exposure.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
