HR & Payroll Administrator – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an organised HR & Payroll Administrator to support a fast‑growing food manufacturing business. Working Monday to Friday, you will be the first point of contact for employees, handling onboarding, record‑keeping and payroll assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR department.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
• Monitor attendance, resolve discrepancies and process timesheets for hourly staff.
• Support payroll administration by ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
• Process new starter and leaver information on company systems.
• Assist with onboarding activities, including inductions and system set‑up.
• Collect biometric data for clock‑in systems where required.
• Respond to HR emails and employee queries professionally.
• Produce daily attendance reports and other HR documentation.
• Support HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience in HR, payroll or a similar office environment.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proactive, positive and team‑oriented attitude.
