HR & Payroll Coordinator (Nights)

About the role

We are seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our Milton Keynes site, delivering a first‑class HR service across employee relations, recruitment, engagement and compliance. The role works primarily Monday‑Friday with occasional night‑shift coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, contracts, probation reviews and leaver processes.
• Support employee‑relations activities including absence management, disciplinary and grievance handling, occupational health referrals and meeting coordination.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reports and people data, ensuring compliance with company policies, GDPR and employment legislation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy HR environment covering recruitment and employee‑relations.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, confident supporting managers and staff at all levels.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced operational setting.
