HR & Recruitment Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive and people‑focused HR & Recruitment Advisor to join our growing HR team in Leeds. The role offers the chance to work across the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment, from advertising vacancies to conducting interviews and managing candidate communications.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Oversee onboarding and induction for new starters and manage leaver processes.
• Provide first‑line HR advice and administrative support on disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
• Prepare HR documentation such as offer letters, contracts, meeting minutes and confidential correspondence.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Produce recruitment reports, HR information for pre‑qualification questionnaires and tender submissions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems.
• Knowledge of GDPR and employment legislation.

• Competitive salary £28,000‑£35,000 per annum.
• Full‑time Monday‑Friday schedule (8.30am‑5pm).
