HR Systems Implementation Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Systems Implementation Lead to drive the delivery of a new Employee Relations Case Management System. You will act as the HR champion throughout the project, linking HR operations, system suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure the solution improves the employee and manager experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Employee Relations Case Management System from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT, project teams and external suppliers across the project lifecycle.
• Review, map and redesign existing ER and HR processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation.
• Translate business requirements into system configuration specifications.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, issue resolution and go‑live activities.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs and user guidance.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to promote adoption.
• Identify risks, dependencies and change impacts, escalating where necessary.
• Assist with change management, communications and end‑user training.
• Ensure data quality, compliance and governance are embedded in the design.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing HRIS or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of HR and Employee Relations processes.
• Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver with effective written and verbal communication.
• Experience with ER Case Management Systems is desirable.
• Background in the Higher Education and Training sector is a plus.
