HR Transformation Business Partner – 4‑month contract

About the role

A leading insurer is embarking on a major transformation programme across its UK business. The role will lead the people workstream, partnering with executive and senior leadership to manage workforce redesign and transaction‑related HR activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the people workstream across a large‑scale transformation programme, including workforce impact assessment and organisational design.
• Manage end‑to‑end collective and individual consultation processes, preparing materials, briefings and engaging employee representatives.
• Provide specialist TUPE advice and support for transaction and divestment activities.
• Develop change communication and stakeholder‑engagement strategies.
• Produce executive and steering‑committee reporting, tracking milestones and risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR workstreams within large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Strong, current TUPE and transaction‑related HR experience.
• Track record of running collective consultation exercises end‑to‑end.
• Advanced knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations, credible at senior/exec level.
• Background in financial services or insurance strongly preferred.
