HSE Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an HSE Coordinator to join the site team of a leading manufacturer in Leyland. The role is hands‑on, based on the shop floor and offers a clear pathway for development within health, safety and environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine health and safety audits across the production area.
• Support the delivery of HSE training and briefings for staff.
• Engage with colleagues to promote safe working practices and continuous improvement.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HSE documentation and records.
• Contribute to incident investigations and corrective action implementation.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Previous HSE experience in a manufacturing, logistics or engineering environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ambition to develop a long‑term career in health, safety and environment.
