HSE Manager – Distribution & Warehousing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the health and safety function across our distribution and warehousing sites in the North West. You will shape safety culture, implement new processes and provide hands‑on support through inspections and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated H&S team covering multiple sites around Liverpool and the wider North West.
• Develop and roll out new health and safety processes and procedures.
• Monitor workforce safety, deliver training and ensure compliance.
• Conduct hands‑on inspections, audits and compliance checks, especially during the early phase of the role.
• Recruit, onboard and train internal and external staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HSE Manager or similar in distribution, dispatch or warehousing environments.
• NEBOSH General (or equivalent) qualification.
• Ability to commute to Warrington.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
