HSEQ Advisor – Energy Projects (Warrington)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives on multi‑million pound energy infrastructure projects for the UK Gas Transmission Network. Based in Warrington, you will work closely with the principal contractor, designers and third‑party sub‑contractors to ensure compliance and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSEQ policies across large‑scale construction projects.
• Support the principal contractor and designer in meeting CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements.
• Review and audit third‑party and sub‑contractor compliance with SHEQ standards.
• Act as the client‑facing champion for HSEQ matters, providing guidance and reporting.
• Travel occasionally to project sites across the UK while primarily working from the Warrington office.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HSEQ Advisor or similar role on energy or power projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and large‑scale construction environments.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for multi‑million pound projects.
