Human Resources Advisor

About the role

This role supports day‑to‑day HR operations and broader people initiatives across the business. Working closely with leadership, you will help deliver people plans, advise managers, and ensure HR processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted point of contact for managers, providing guidance on employee relations and HR best practice.
• Support senior HR leadership on complex and sensitive cases.
• Develop and improve HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in HR projects and people‑related initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise with external providers such as recruitment partners and benefits suppliers.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to off‑boarding—including pre‑employment checks and record maintenance.
• Maintain and enhance HR systems, ensure data accuracy, and produce reports for performance reviews and surveys.
• Support health‑and‑safety processes, coordinate wellbeing initiatives, and help maintain a safe office environment.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture and assist with planning company events and team activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR administration or generalist role.
• Good understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and discretion with confidential information.
• Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience supporting payroll processes or working with external providers is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with HR information systems and data reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
