About the role
The Human Resources Assistant will support the HR department and the organisation’s leadership team with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate initial orientation days and prepare starter kits for new hires.
- Provide data for weekly and monthly payroll preparation, including absences and time‑and‑attendance records.
- Act as liaison between HR and employees, handling queries and ensuring smooth communication.
- Update the Workday HR database, manage organisation changes and maintain employee records (both hard and soft copies).
- Assist in drafting policies, work processes and other HR standards documents.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR and senior executives.
- Compile and edit communication documents for employee dissemination.
- Process documentation and prepare reports on staffing activities such as hiring, terminations and promotions.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training sessions and surveys, taking minutes where required.
- Liaise with public services when necessary.
