Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our busy HR Operations team within the People Experience function. Based in Edinburgh or Aberdeen, you will act as a key point of contact for colleagues, delivering high‑quality administrative and project support across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing clear guidance on policies, procedures and benefits.
• Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Support benefits enrolment, changes and general enquiries.
• Coordinate onboarding, contractual documentation, system access, induction and off‑boarding activities.
• Produce standard HR reports and metrics for decision‑making and operational delivery.
• Collaborate with People Experience colleagues and stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.
• Help maintain up‑to‑date HR guidance and knowledge resources.
• Assist with HR projects and annual cyclical activities.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR Operations role.
• CIPD qualification, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, sound judgement and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer‑service mindset with a focus on positive employee experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience using Workday (advantageous).
