Human Resources Generalist – West Yorkshire

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our West Yorkshire site. The role will deliver a comprehensive HR service to employees and senior management while supporting broader UK HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for the West Yorkshire facility.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees to drive engagement and performance.
• Coach line managers on best‑practice people management.
• Lead and manage employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Provide expert advice aligned with company policy and UK employment law.
• Support performance management processes and own the appraisal cycle.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date employee handbook reflecting policy changes.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition activities.
• Offer HR support to other UK sites as required.

Required profile

• Proven HR generalist experience with strong employee‑relations expertise.
• Ability to manage complex ER cases independently.
• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and adopts a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
