Humanities Teacher – Full‑time (Long‑term contract)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join our ‘Good’ rated school in Aylesbury from September 2026. The role offers a supportive environment where you can inspire Key Stage 3 and 4 students in History, Geography or Religious Studies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5).
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in extra‑curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching outcomes.
• Support students’ academic and personal growth.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a degree in a Humanities subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies or related).
• Strong classroom management and a genuine passion for teaching.
• Experience at KS3 and KS4 level (KS5 experience is a plus).
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
