HVAC Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of refrigeration, air‑conditioning, heating and ventilation solutions across commercial and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer. The role involves supporting installation, service and maintenance operations for clients in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of air‑conditioning, refrigeration and ducted ventilation systems.
• Ensure all work meets high standards of safety, quality and industry regulations.
• Travel to client sites across the designated region using a company van.
• Collaborate with installation, service and maintenance teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 1 and Level 2 F‑GAS Certification (2079).
• At least 5 years’ experience in air‑conditioning and refrigeration.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear enhanced DBS check for unescorted site access.

Required skills

• F‑GAS Certification (Level 1 & 2).
• Air‑conditioning system installation and maintenance.
• Refrigeration system servicing.
• Ducted ventilation system installation and maintenance.
