HVAP Shift Leader

About the role

The HVAP Shift Leader will manage critical building services infrastructure across both electrical and mechanical systems for a leading engineering and services business in Wembley. You will work on a 4‑on/4‑off, 6‑on/4‑off rotating schedule covering day and night shifts, ensuring reliable operation of high‑voltage and low‑voltage assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HV/LV electrical systems, UPS, PDUs, distribution boards, generators and ATS.
• Oversee mechanical plant including CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC and BMS.
• Act as an authorised person, completing safety documentation to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate shift handovers and support the wider facilities team.

Required profile

• Background in facilities management.
• Valid HVAP certification.
• A Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.

Required skills

• HV/LV system knowledge.
• UPS and PDU operation.
• Generator and ATS handling.
• CRAC, chiller, cooling tower expertise.
• HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) proficiency.
