Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) – Cannabis Medicines

About the role

Montu UK is seeking a Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join its multidisciplinary team in London. You will be responsible for prescribing and reviewing cannabis‑based medicines for patients with complex health conditions, working both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prescribe and review cannabis‑based medicines in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Conduct patient consultations, assess treatment outcomes and adjust therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and research activities.
• Provide education to patients and staff about the safe use of cannabis medicines.

Required profile

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• At least 2 years of experience as an Independent Prescriber.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis‑based medicines and their therapeutic applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Independent prescribing qualification.
