Hybrid Conveyancer / Solicitor – Residential Property

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer to join a growing Fareham‑based law firm. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality legal work without the pressure of generating new business, and offers flexible or hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload independently from instruction to completion.
• Progress matters efficiently with a focus on quality and client experience.
• Deal directly with clients, agents, lenders and third parties.
• Ensure files remain compliant throughout each transaction.
• Support junior team members where appropriate.
• Keep the case management system fully up to date.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced non‑qualified conveyancer.
• Minimum of 2 years’ residential conveyancing experience.
• Comfortable managing files independently from start to finish.
• Experience with both freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
