Hydro-Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Hydro-Mechanical Technician to join a leading aerospace client at their Marston Green facility. You will work on the design, assembly and testing of innovative hydromechanical fuel systems in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, evaluate and test hydromechanical fuel components such as Fuel Metering Units and Fuel Pumps.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and timely delivery of military and commercial products.
• Diagnose and repair faults, applying analytical problem‑solving techniques.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and test results.

Required profile

• HNC/HND level qualification in Hydro‑Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to workmanship.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and solve unexpected technical issues.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Previous exposure to aerospace or related manufacturing environments is advantageous.
