IAM Cloud Support Engineer – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for an IAM Cloud Support Engineer to join our Manchester team on‑site. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a modern Identity & Access Management environment built on Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, ensuring secure authentication and seamless access across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for Microsoft Entra ID, including RBAC, Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access, MFA and SSO.
• Administer Entra ID enterprise applications (SAML/OIDC), service principals and managed identities.
• Manage identity lifecycle processes such as joiner‑mover‑leaver, dynamic groups and access governance.
• Maintain Entra/AAD Connect synchronization between on‑premises AD and Azure AD.
• Support Okta SSO and identity integrations alongside Entra ID.
• Integrate identity services with security and endpoint tools, for example CrowdStrike.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting cloud IAM platforms, preferably Microsoft Entra ID and/or Okta.
• Hands‑on experience with Conditional Access and/or Privileged Identity Management in production.
• Experience configuring SSO integrations using SAML or OIDC.
• Knowledge of cloud‑to‑on‑prem identity synchronization (Entra Connect/AD sync).
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills.
