ICT Consultant – School IT Support

About the role

We are seeking an ICT Consultant to support a Trust’s schools in Bromley. The role involves maintaining IT hardware and services across multiple sites and helping improve ICT provision to enhance teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment and AV lecterns across school sites.
• Install and update software, including Microsoft Office365, on all devices.
• Provide first‑line and second‑line technical support to staff and resolve incidents that affect school operations.
• Manage customer accounts and communicate service updates between schools and the Turn IT On team.
• Identify and implement improvements to the schools’ ICT infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in ICT support or technician role, preferably in an education setting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office365.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware and networking software.
• Familiarity with a range of school devices (desktop PCs, iPads, printers, scanners, projectors, AV equipment).
