Identity & Access Management Lead

About the role

Outsource UK is seeking an Identity & Access Management Lead to drive the next phase of an IAM transformation for a major UK enterprise. This hands‑on leadership position combines deep technical delivery with strategic influence, working in a hybrid model (three days on‑site) in Leeds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of IAM engineers and mentor junior staff.
• Design, configure and maintain Microsoft Entra (Entra ID) services, including application registrations, SSO, secrets and certificate management.
• Implement and improve identity governance, access management and automation processes.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to shape the enterprise’s cloud‑first identity strategy.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate progress and align IAM initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication abilities.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Entra administration and configuration.

Required skills

• Microsoft Entra (Entra ID) administration
• Application registrations, Single Sign‑On (SSO), secrets and certificate management
• Identity governance and access management
• Automation within an IAM environment
• Familiarity with SailPoint ISC, CIAM, Azure AD B2C or Entra External ID (advantageous)
