IFA Administrator – Route to Junior Paraplanner (Wealth Management)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established independent financial adviser firm near Hemel Hempstead, is looking for an IFA Administrator who will follow a clear pathway to become a junior paraplanner in wealth management. The role offers hybrid working after the initial training and probation period, a supportive team environment and strong progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Process new business, fund switches, withdrawals and policy servicing across multiple providers such as Aviva, Fidelity, Prudential, Aegon and Quilter.
• Maintain client records using back‑office systems, with XPLAN training provided.
• Support advisers with valuations, reports and compliance administration.
• Liaise with clients and providers to ensure a high level of service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IFA administration.
• Confident using provider platforms and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of FE Analytics, Defaqto or Cashcalc is advantageous (training available).

• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
