IFA Compliance Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an IFA Compliance Administrator to join a respected wealth management business in Birmingham. The role provides day‑to‑day support to the Compliance department, helping to ensure regulatory standards are met and internal processes run smoothly. You will work in a hybrid model, spending three days in the Edgbaston office and two days remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the Compliance team and its core functions.
• Conduct internal risk assessments and assist in monitoring regulatory compliance.
• Perform file checks, adviser observations, and prepare regulatory reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations.
• Support complaint resolution and contribute to Consumer Duty attestations.
• Collaborate across departments to foster a strong compliance culture.
• Participate in audits and help develop internal training or guidance where required.

Required profile

• Previous administrative experience in financial services, preferably within compliance or a regulatory function.
• Basic understanding of FCA rules and the wealth‑management environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations accurately and with care.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Professional handling of sensitive data with discretion.
• Confident communicator comfortable working across departments.
• Proactive, service‑driven attitude with a strong sense of integrity.
