Import and Customs Freight Forwarding Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import and Customs Freight Forwarding Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end import shipments across air, sea and road. You will work for a forward‑thinking freight forwarder, handling a variety of cargo types while ensuring full customs compliance. The role combines commercial acumen with hands‑on coordination of multimodal transport.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multimodal import shipments from origin to final destination.
• Negotiate and book cargo space with shipping lines, airlines and road carriers.
• Prepare and process customs clearances for various regimes (Home Use, IPR, Bond, etc.).
• Manage documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin and licences.
• Arrange collection, delivery and handling of out‑of‑gauge or project cargo.
• Maintain commercial awareness and support client relationships throughout the shipping process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in import freight forwarding and customs clearance.
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
