In-Store Restaurant Trainer

About the role

Join Hickory's Smokehouse as an In-Store Restaurant Trainer and help shape the next generation of hospitality talent. You will work on the restaurant floor, leading recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of our team while embodying our Southern Hospitality ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train new restaurant staff across multiple locations.
• Deliver on‑site training sessions, workshops and team trips to reinforce brand standards.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback and coach team members to achieve Hickory's service benchmarks.
• Identify process improvements, propose new ideas and support project‑based initiatives.
• Manage training schedules, ensuring compliance with strict timeframes and overnight stay requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training or coaching within a fast‑paced, high‑volume restaurant environment.
• Strong project management experience.
• Ability to motivate, inspire and develop team members.
• Excellent communication skills with a welcoming, empathetic personality.
• Legal right to work in the UK and minimum age of 18.
