Income Auditor – Hotel Finance

About the role

The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge is seeking an experienced Income Auditor to join its Finance team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate revenue recording across all hotel outlets and supporting the daily financial operations of a 4‑star property in Knightsbridge.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily audits of revenue from rooms, food & beverage, events and ancillary streams.
• Verify that all revenues are correctly posted in the Property Management System (PMS), Micros POS and accounting platforms.
• Reconcile cash receipts, credit‑card transactions, bank transfers and city‑ledger accounts.
• Review room rates, packages, discounts and complimentary stays for proper authorization.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances and unusual transactions promptly.
• Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report to hotel management.
• Produce revenue analysis reports highlighting trends and operational issues.
• Assist with month‑end closing, internal and external audits, and maintain accurate audit files.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Reservations, F&B, Events and Finance teams to ensure accurate revenue capture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in income auditing, accounts receivable or finance within a hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue streams and financial controls.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud and Micros POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
