Income Receivables Manager (Temporary)

About the role

This temporary 3‑5 month assignment supports a growing organisation undergoing transformation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own the income and receivables function, driving cash collections and ensuring accurate revenue reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable, billing and credit control processes.
• Drive cash collections and reduce aged debt balances.
• Reconcile the sales ledger and produce accurate revenue reports.
• Prepare cash collection forecasts and debtor analysis.
• Monitor and report on credit control KPIs such as Debtor Days and DSO.
• Handle disputed invoices and resolve complex customer queries.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve collection performance.
• Produce management information packs for senior finance stakeholders.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain receivables procedures, controls and documentation.
• Manage credit risk and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Contribute to wider finance projects and transformation initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Income Management.
• Proven track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collection performance.
• Experience managing or leading a receivables function, preferably in a shared service centre or large finance environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
• Relevant qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CICM (or active studies) are desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
