Independent Financial Adviser – Cambridge & Peterborough

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join our Cambridge office and serve clients across Cambridge and Peterborough. The role offers a unique platform with an established client bank of around 140 households, supported by strong inbound lead generation and full paraplanning assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑value clients, delivering holistic advice on pensions, investments, retirement and protection.
• Act as the primary adviser for the transferred client bank, ensuring seamless transition and ongoing service.
• Collaborate closely with internal paraplanning and administration teams to provide a smooth client experience.
• Generate new business through internal marketing, lead generation and relationship development.
• Attend client meetings, conduct regular reviews and identify opportunities to increase assets under management.
• Maintain FCA compliance and adhere to regulatory standards in all advice delivered.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Independent Financial Adviser with a commercial and relationship‑focused mindset.
• Ability to embed quickly within existing processes and build strong internal and client relationships.
• Motivation to develop a long‑term, recurring revenue stream and achieve portfolio growth.
