Independent Financial Advisor – South West (Self‑Employed)

About the role

TC Group is expanding its Financial Planning team and seeks a self‑employed Independent Financial Advisor to serve clients across the South West region. You will work closely with the Director of Financial Planning, delivering holistic advice on investments, pensions, tax and protection.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by establishing contact with potential clients and nurturing relationships.
• Review existing client portfolios, assess needs and recommend solutions that meet company standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations covering investment, pension, inheritance tax and protection planning.
• Deliver advice through virtual meetings (Teams) and face‑to‑face appointments, travelling as required.
• Maintain high standards of client care throughout the advisory process.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (working towards Chartered status preferred).
• Proven track record as a Financial Adviser in a relationship‑led environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with TC partners and other business areas.
• Strong organisational and professional demeanor.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car for client visits.
