Independent Living Advisor – Crewe

About the role

Join one of the UK’s largest housing associations as an Independent Living Advisor in Crewe. You will work 35 hours a week on a fixed‑term contract, supporting older residents with tenancy and daily living needs while ensuring safety and independence across three local sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day tenancy support, customer service and respond to low‑level emergencies.
• Carry out scheme safety checks and monitor contractors.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with move‑ins and housing benefit queries.
• Promote resident independence and wellbeing.
• Coordinate Domestic Technicians, ensuring high‑quality work and prioritising tasks.

Required profile

• Experience working with older people.
• Strong written and verbal communication, adaptable to individual needs.
• Administrative and basic numeracy abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence, own car and basic DBS clearance.
