Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to provide specialist, trauma-informed support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of sexual violence across the UK. The role is remote, 35 hours per week, on a fixed-term contract until September 2026 with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of LGBT+ survivors, conducting risk and needs assessments.
• Develop safety plans and support clients through criminal and civil justice processes.
• Liaise with partner agencies and signpost to specialist services.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce required reports.
• Travel occasionally to the London office when required (expenses covered).

Required profile

• Member of the LGBT+ community.
• Demonstrated experience supporting victims and survivors of sexual violence.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and trauma-informed practice.
• ISVA qualification preferred, though substantial advocacy experience will be considered.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.
